Explaination of Status Levels:       - Printable version -

First on call: This status indicates that the TADMAT is one of the three rotating teams to be on call for a disaster on the eastern half of the United States. If a large disaster occurs, the TADMAT and two other DMATs and an Management Support Unit (MSU) will compose the NDMS push package to the disaster site as a first in asset. During this month, the TADMAT is at a high state of readiness.

Situation Normal: This status indicates that the team is presently not on alert, advisory or activation and is staged down.

Pre-Alert: This is a level that the TADMAT uses to notify its members that the team leadership is monitoring a developing situation
that may prompt an advisory by NDMS within the next 72 hours.

Advisory: This is a level that NDMS issues to teams to let them know that they are advised of a condition that may require an
alert or activation in the next 72 hours.

Alert: This is a level that NDMS issues to teams to let them know that an activation is imminent. The team is given some funding to
help prepare for a deployment.

Activation: This is a level that NDMS issues to teams when a team is activated for deployment

Deployed: This is a level that NDMS issues to teams when they are deployed into the field in response to a situation.

Demobilized: This a level that NDMS issues to teams which are presently deployed to indicate that they are being extracted from
the disaster site or staging area and sent home.

Deactivated: This is a level that NDMS issues to teams which notifies them to return to Normal status.
