Thanks for joining us at the Center for Disaster Education & Research

The CDER was officially founded in 1995 to supplement the Toledo Area Disaster Medical Assistance Team's efforts toward training and education in disaster medicine, management and mitigations. The CDER is a not-for-profit organization that's main goal is to reach out to first the medical community, next the professional public safety community and lastly to the lay public and assist in bringing resources and educational materials together. The CDER acts as a clearing house for information related to the effects of disasters on human populations.

The CDER faculty and staff are available to assist you or your agency in any way we can to help better prepare you to respond in the event of a disaster of any level. We firmly believe in the tenet that "Knowledge is Power" and upon your request, we will put all of our educational and research capabilities at your disposal to help you plan and prepare for, respond to and mitigate against a disaster that affects you or your constituents. If you would like more information about the CDER and how we can assist you, please feel free to email us via the links below.
