MedicCom is host to a number of disaster related mailing lists. Archives of these mailing lists can be read online by entering the BBS part of the web pages. The mailing lists are interactive with the conferences so you can post to the mailing list by leaving a message in that conference area or by sending it via email to the mailing list email address. Both methods result in that message being mailed to everyone on the list. If you are just subscribing to a mailing list, you should enter the BBS and read previous messages to get a feel for what has already been discussed. You can subscribe to mailing lists
online here by visiting the web page NOTE: If you post an OFF TOPIC commercial solicitation via these mailing lists you will be charge $50 per message posted. You may post without charge, commercial messages if they are selling goods or services that are within the scope of the particular list as shown below. The administrator of MedicCom.Org makes the decision whether the message is relevant and exempt of charges or whether the message is off topic and a fee is assessed. No arguments! If you are unsure whether your post is considered to be within the topic, then email me at churton@mediccom.org prior to posting and I will be happy to review your message first. This mailing list is a free service but distributing your off-topic, commercial message is not considered as such. By subscribing to the list and posting a commercial message that is not within the topic of the list, you are accepting the terms of the above agreement and must remit payment of $50/message within 30 days of posting. Please note this important info re: DOD, VA, PHS, FEMA, NDMS, DMATS: The MedicCom.org mailing lists are not in any way sanctioned or affiliated with any sector of the Federal Government. They are entirely an open, public forum for disaster responders. The intent of the mailing lists at MedicCom.org is of course to support the disaster response teams that make up the National Disaster Medical System. These lists are provided entirely without financial responsibility or support and MedicCom is entirely funded out of my own pocket and given to the public as a gesture of my good faith that you will not abuse it. It is my wish that this list remain supportive of the NDMS and the agencies involved in NDMS such as DOD, VA, PHS and FEMA. It is expected that postings are done so with respect for these agencies ethics and equal rights policies and do not detract from the reputation of these agencies. Those using this list should refrain from posting or attaching material that could be offensive to any particular person or group based on their race, sex, religion, color, national origin, age, disability or sexual orientation. If you have questions about what is appropriate to post to these mailing lists, please email the list administrator: churton@mediccom.org prior to posting for consultation. For any problems or questions about the mailing lists
here, or if you have trouble subscribing or unsubscribing, please email
me at churton@mediccom.org
