Introduction:
This page has been set up to support users of the Pathways 2000 Care Manager (PCM) product and the Pathways Lab Information System (PWLIS). The page is independent of HBO & Company and supported by the users of the product.   Input for further development of this page is welcome.  If any additional feature will assist in communication among users of PCM or PWLIS, I will do my best to incorporate it.

PCM and PWLIS Message areas

These message areas are the archives of the email that was posted and sent through the PCM and PWLIS listserve's. If someone posts a message to the list it gets stored here in the WWW Bulletin Board System. Just like the obsolete dial-with-your-modem-to-connect-systems of only a few years ago, this web based BBS allows you to post and read messages search the archives of old messages, etc. This is a very powerful tool as you now can go back and search the old messages for whatever keywords best meet your search criteria. This includes thousands of messages with hundreds of topics (all dealing with Pathways Care Manager or Pathways Lab). This is certainly the largest knowlege base short of HBOC and their documentation of their products. The PCM messages date back to 9/30/98 and the PWLIS messages date back to 1/31/2000.

Before you can read messages in the PCM and PWLIS areas, you must create an account on the web Bulletin Board System. Just like the old days when you had to dial up the BBS and log-in. This sign-up process is simply asking for your name and your password. NO OTHER personal info will be asked. This lets the system know who you are, and identifies you when you post to the message areas. Each time you return, you will be asked for this userID and Password. (Note: this process just allows you to read the messages online, it doesn't subscribe you to the listserve so that new messages come to you. If you want the web messages mailed to you as listserve messages, use the subscribe forms below).

PCM and PWLIS File Library

There is an File Transfer Protocol (FTP) site for both the Pathways Care Manager and the Pathways Lab mailing lists. Users are encouraged to use the FTP site rather than attach files to messages sent to the list (this boggs down and slows the list). The FTP site will then act as a file repository for anything that is shared via the lists! The FTP sites are at:

Primarily, this page is intended as a platform to subscribe and unsubscribe from an electronic mailing list directed at users of PCM & PWLIS.  Presently I support the page by donations.  It operates on a PC in my home connected to the Internet via a 24 hour dial up line at 33K.  The mailing list and web page may experience occasional downtime as when do maintenance on the system.  This downtime is usually short in duration.   If you have questions or comments about the list, wish to make a donation or have suggestions how I can make the web page, an FTP site, or additional mailing lists on different topics of use to you, please don't hesitate to email me:
